Where are you located?

Our studio is located at 24 West Main Street in Wentzville Missouri. Outdoor sessions are offered in the general vicinity as well.

We also set up our own special event days at various surrounding St. Louis area locations from time to time which can be self booked here: https://leaveittobeaver.pixifi.com/booking/specialevents

What are your hours of operation?

Leave it to Beaver Photography is a full time photography studio. We offer sessions 5 days a week typically from 10 AM to Sunset.

The studio is closed for photography services on Monday's and Wednesday's.

Client Services, Scheduling and general customer service is available Monday - Friday 9 AM to 3PM and/or by appointment outside of the general booking hours.

How do I book a session/contact you for inquires?

Clients can contact a member of the Leave it to Beaver Team from 9AM to 3PM, Monday-Friday to arrange the scheduling of their sessions. Leave it to Beaver Photography will not contact you to schedule sessions (prepaid, sale, re-booking of canceled sessions or otherwise).

Please do not email us to book or send an inquiry through the website unless you do not have social media messaging (Facebook or Instagram) as there will be a delay in response.

We kindly ask that clients DO NOT reach out to Julie directly via her personal FB or via phone as she is typically booked in sessions from 10 AM to sunset (and beyond) daily. Julie does not handle inquiries/questions, scheduling of appointments, quoting or the collection of payments.

When should I book my appointment?

We open up our booking calendar for future, general session booking on the 1st of each month. This gives us an opportunity to plan special event days and to book out larger events like weddings. Clients are encouraged to book as soon as possible as spots are limited each month.

Bundle customers are able to book one week prior to general appointments - so please reach out early to book your most ideal spots.

What are your payment options and policies?

Single Sessions require a 1/2 down deposit to secure a booking. The remaining 1/2 is due the day of your session. We prefer not to collect any payment in advance of services being rendered.

All bundles require an initial non-refundable retainer that is determined based on your package selection. The remainder is paid in increments divided equally across sessions. All payments are due prior to any photographs being taken. As bundles are discounted clients are responsible for payment of the entire package even if they do not complete all sessions. Bonus Bucks can not be used on discounted bundles.

For weddings, a non-refundable retainer and contract is required before you date is secured. A custom payment plan will be set up for you based on the specific factors of your event. All balances must be paid 2 weeks before the event date. Once the contract is signed and retainer paid it is 100% non-refundable for any reason. Bonus Bucks can not be used on wedding invoices.

Clients are sent an invoice for each session that is booked. Your invoice allows for direct payments via your Credit or Debit Card at no additional cost to you. Any customer paying outside of their invoice will be charged back for any/all additional fee's incurred before galleries are delivered unless alternate payment methods are previously approved by management.

If clients dispute the validity of payments by mistake or purposefully - you will be charged all administrative fee's for processing and reversing the claim incurred by Leave it to Beaver Photography (Typically these costs are $25 to $100). Your appointment will be subject to cancellation and or photos withheld until all monies owed + fees are paid to Leave it to Beaver Photography in full. If you have questions about your payments, please contact us via Facebook Messenger for assistance before filing a claim with your credit card company or bank.

We no longer accept any payments via check, cash or through apps such as Venmo/Paypal/FB Pay etc.

What is your cancellation policy?

Leave it to Beaver Photography does not issue refunds under any circumstance.

Studio credit in the form of a gift card will be issued and clients must book a new session based on the current availability calendar.

If for any reason your are unable to make it to your scheduled appointment time, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible.

Arriving late to your appointment equals reduced session time. Failure to be present and ready at your scheduled time could also result in your session being canceled entirely at Julie's discretion should it negatively impact other customers on the schedule.

If your appointment is cancelled due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen circumstance (at the discretion of Leave it to Beaver Photography) an email will be sent to you as soon as possible after the decision to cancel is made.

Clients are responsible for contacting the studio to book a new session.

When can I expect to receive my edited photos?

All sessions include a digital link to an edited gallery with a pre-determined number of images based on the selected session + a release for personal use printing & sharing. Standard session links are emailed approximately 20 business days after the session. In peak photography season (Aug- Dec) there is extended time needed for client gallery delivery.

Once session links are delivered, it is the clients responsibility to download their photos for archival purposes. Downloading your files is an acceptance of the finished product and understanding that no further obligation of services are to be provided or extended from the studio to clients in regards to their session(s).

Images posted on our social media are done so at random. They are shared for advertising and promotional purposes only. They are NOT high-resolution images, they are NOT a clients finished/delivered product, they are NOT sneak peaks for client use and should never be copied from our page. Doing so is theft of our intellectual property, so please do not copy photos from our website or social media pages.

If you would like high resolution images prior to delivery of your album, a request must be made at the time of booking. Even if requested, sneak peaks are never guaranteed. They are not included in your purchase price and we do not offer any rush services for photos.

Clients should schedule sessions to ensure photo delivery by your desired want/need.

Only images deemed as acceptable quality and that are a direct reflection of Leave it to Beaver Photography will be included in your edited albums. No image taken during your session is guaranteed to be edited or delivered.

The copyright for all images is retained by Leave it to Beaver. Any/All photos edited and released to a client are restricted for the clients personal use and sharing only. We reserve the right to refuse the editing and/or publishing of any of photos taken during your session at our discretion.

Editing

Photographs taken by Leave it to Beaver Photography and that are provided to clients are edited minimally. The studio does not alter images utilizing any programs such as Photoshop or anything similar. We also will not adjust our style or offer "lighter" editing that is not consistent with our brand.

Session costs includes color correction and/or mild retouching or smoothing consistent with Julie's / Leave it to Beaver dark and moody vibe.

Any additional edits requested by clients to alter photos more extensively (to remove scars/scrapes/abrasions/persons in the background etc) will incur a fee of up to $30 per image or be charged at an hourly rate whichever is most appropriate. These more extensive edits are completed by a trusted 3rd party and not done in house by Leave it to Beaver Photography.

Do you Travel?

Yes and No

Leave it to Beaver Photography is full time, Wentzville based photography company. We have studio space and also offer outdoor sessions. In order to ensure we can keep costs down and continue to operate a physical studio and full time schedule, it is imperative that all sessions are held close to our home base.

That unfortunately means that we are unable to offer sessions in the downtown and south county areas as a standard due to the distance it takes for travel and the inability to fill the schedule in those areas.

We do travel for weddings and larger booked events and will sometimes offer a special prearranged bookings to clients for an extra fee as well.

Travel fees for weddings are charged at $0.67 per mile (round trip) if over 25 miles from our studio. Any location more than 60 min from Wentzville Missouri will require a 1 night hotel stay (per photographer booked) to be covered by the client on top of our full quoted fee for services.

For greater distances, flights plus a minimum of 2 nights of hotel (per photographer booked) is required on top of our full quoted fee for services.

Do you provide props?

Yes for in-studio sessions. We have a vast array of themed props and backgrounds to choose from! If you have an idea in mind, just let us know when you book.

We do not provide balloons and/or any food (i.e. cake for birthday sessions) or perishable items used during your session.

If we do not have the specific props you desire, it may be necessary for you bring items with you to your session for use in the set up.

We do have client closet of both adult and child dresses that can be rented for a $25 fee - Dress rental fees once paid are non-refundable and non transferable even if dress is not utilized. https://leaveittobeaverphotography.pixieset.com/dressgallery/

We do not bring or provide props (with the exception of dress rentals) to outdoor sessions.

Do you offer Sales, Promotions and Discounted Bundles?

Periodically, we do offer sales.

Sale sessions and free gifted bonus bucks are not honored past the expiration for any reason - this includes cancellation due to weather.

Sales sold for specific dates and events can not be rebooked at the sale price. Should you need to cancel, studio credit in the amount paid will be issued (minus in applicable fees) and a new booking at the current price can be scheduled for you if available.

We encourage all clients to book early to ensure use of the promotion prior to expiration. Holding on to sales and promotions may lead to forfeiture of the sale or bonus. Fall - December sell out quickly so please reach out to the studio to schedule as soon as the calendar month is open for booking.

Bundles are discounted and sold with the understanding that all sessions will be scheduled and photographed. The bundle fee must be paid by the end date on the invoice, even if all sessions are not utilized.

Sale Sessions & Promotions T&C's

All reduced/sale price sessions have a firm expiration date of 1 year from date of purchase (or less) unless otherwise stated on the sale. After the promotional period expires, any unused sessions revert to studio credit at full cash value in the amount originally paid by the customer. These credits can be used toward the cost of a full price session but CANNOT be used to book or purchase another sale priced session.

All free or bonus studio credit gifted to clients by Leave it to Beaver also has a firm expiration date and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure they use any promotional credits before expiration, no extensions will be granted.

Free/Promotional credit is not transferable and holds no cash value.

Free/Promotional Credit cannot be used towards bundles, weddings or any other discounted sessions and may not be eligible for certain special event sessions.

Free/Promotional credit can be revoked at any time at our discretion.

Bundles are discounted and sold with the understanding that all sessions will be scheduled and photographed. If sessions are canceled bundles will revert to single sessions billed to the client at the current price/rate.

Additional information

Client communication is key to a successful session. Please let us know at the time of booking and during your session if there is something specific that you are wanting captured.

Leave it to Beaver Photography does not control any external factor in regards to your session such as, but not limited to: the weather, location changes due to circumstance beyond our control, background persons in public places, the happiness of any person/client being photographed, nor are we responsible for any clothing, hair or makeup related issue that may occur during your session. No location or backdrop or amount of backdrops/settings are guaranteed to be used or available at the time of your session.
